guinea pig!

The domestic guinea pig or simply guinea pig (Cavia porcellus), also known as cavy, is a species of rodent belonging to the family Caviidae and the genus Cavia. Despite their common name, these animals are not in the pig family Suidae, nor do they come from Guinea in Africa. They originated in the Andes of South America.

There are 3 types of guinea pigs, american, abyssinian, and peruvian.

The American guinea pig is the most common breed of them all. They are the ones that you probably imagine when you think “guinea pig.” This breed has a really good temperament and tend to get along better with other pigs. The reason why they’re so popular is because they’re so easy to take care of. Not all guinea pigs have short hair like the American. And because of this feature, grooming isn’t as time consuming as with the long-haired breeds. I would highly recommend the American if you plan on giving one to a small child. And although they aren’t exactly the most exotic or exciting, they are just as lovable as a Peruvian.

Abyssinian guinea pig is certainly an icebreaker for a new home visitor. They have somewhat long hair with swirls, which make them perfect for show guinea pigs. because of the long hair and curls, it’s a bit more difficult to take care of an Abyssinian. Grooming needs to be done more often. This would not be an ideal pet for a child because they are not as low maintenance as, for example, the American. The Abyssinians are known to be naughty and get into extra trouble. But don’t let that deter you from owning one. Their fun and loving personality will certainly make up for the mess they might cause.

Of all the different types, the Peruvian guinea pig takes the cake for the longest hair. In fact, the longest hair recorded by any guinea pig (set by a Peruvian) reached 20 inches long! Unlike the Abyssinian, the Peruvian has long straight hair. The Peruvian tends to be more alert and curious than all the other breeds. They are just as loving and will often come greet you out of curiosity every chance they get. I would highly recommend them for children.

The gestation period of guinea pigs is between 60 and 70 days. Once guinea pig pups are born, they stay near their mother constantly for both warmth and food, nursing for up to 30 days. Guinea pigs are weaned between the ages of 3 weeks to 4 weeks and will begin to eat grass and hay, then pellets. the average guinea pig's lives between 5 years and 7 years.

Guinea pigs love to eat fruit and vegetables which contain lots of healthy nutrients.

Gratefull moment

Hi! i want to tell you about one of my story when I was in junior high school, maybe. So, One day, me and my friends go to the mall to eat, waching movie, and window shopping. It was fun when you go to the mall with your friends right?

Because I have so much fun with my friends, I forgot where I put my handphone. I was panic and I want to cry at that time. Me and my friends search to all places in that mall, but we cannot find it.

When i was hopeless and stop find it, suddenly my friends give me my phone from her bag. She say I left it when we eat and she took it. I don't know I have to thank her or mad to her, because why she don't give me my phone before I search it. But the most important think is my phone is back, so I thank her.

From that accident, i learn something. at  another times, I will not left my phone carelessly again and keep the goods carefully.
